Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.
Description of the Project
Work of this contract comprises the Renovation of Briefing Room B166
Overall program value is estimated at $100,000,000.
Description of the Services
The Briefing Room renovation is to include the demolition of some interior walls, the inclusion of a theatre sound system and public display monitors and the installation of stadium seating, and any additional alterations to the room required to complete this modification
Security Requirements
Contractors, at all times during the performance of the Contract, will be required to hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
The Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) will be required to EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of SECRET, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
Process
Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a proposal/bid for these procurement/procurements that fall under this program can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link:

Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to December 26 ,2018 quoting the following information:
- Contract number #GW202809
- Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for (FSC/Secret).
