Description

Purpose of this Advance Procurement Notice
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a potential project with anticipated security requirements to provide interested Building Construction Contractors an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed.

Description of the Project
This project will provide facilities to accommodate the Health Services Centre at 5 CDSB Gagetown. Currently, Health Services operates through various facilities, including existing building infrastructure and temporary structures within the Base. This project will provide a central facility for the Health Services Centre.

Description of the Services
The scope of this work for this project will include:

The renovations of the existing 5 CDSB Gagetown Medical Facility, Building A-47 (existing footprint approx. 3,200m2),
The construction of a new 2-storey addition (approx. 2,170m2) to Building A-47, including a new link (approx. 114m2) between the new addition and the original building, and
Associated site works

The project estimated cost is in the order of $28.7M.

It is anticipated that this procurement will be initiated in the Spring of 2019. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by the DND.

Security Requirements
Contractors and Sub-Contractors will be required to hold a valid DESIGNATED ORGANIZATION SCREENING (DOS) at the level of Reliability, issued or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Process
Contractors and Sub-Contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html. Contractors / Sub-Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to April 2, 2019 quoting the following information:

Contract number C.000657; and
Reliability Status Clearance.
