Description

The objective of the Municipality in issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain cost effective proposals for maintenance and management of the water systems located in and owned by the Municipality. Cost is an important factor in this competition but it will not be the sole determining factor. Results from the RFP, will enable the Municipality to assess whether to operate and maintain the Water System in-house or negotiate an operation, maintenance and management services agreement (Services Agreement). If the latter is recommended to Council, then the Preferred Proponent will be awarded an initial five (5) year term with an option for further five (5) year terms at the Municipality’s discretion.
