Description

Colliers Project Leaders is seeking the Services of a Consulting Structural Engineer for Bailey Bridge 1 Remediation.

This bridge is in fair condition with localized areas where deterioration was observed or structural concerns were noted. The deterioration observed ranges from rusting steel/peeling paint, concrete scaling/delamination. Some bridge deck members were found to be undersized. Gaps were observed in the guard rails along the abutments of this bridge. Scope of work of the project is to to provide concrete and steel structural remediation and repairs as per recommendations from a 2021 Condition Assessment Report by Tacoma Engineering.

As this bridge spans the Wye River special consultations may be required.
