A Functional Program and Feasibility Study for Grandview Children’s Centre was completed in 2016, and requires a refresh due to the addition of new services being offered by GCC and new satellite centres being opened throughout Oshawa, Ajax, and Whitby. The completed functional program estimates that the new facility will be approximately 80,000 square feet in multiple storeys. The new building will be located on Harwood Avenue North in the Town of Ajax, on a plot of land donated to GCC. Due Diligence studies, such as geotechnical, hydrogeology, archaeological and traffic/parking studies, are currently being completed for the site.
