The intent of the project is to carry out Measure (1.2 - 1.17) except 1.16 measure, as outlined in Table 1, PDF page 60 of the Roof Study (108042) at the Newmarket Courthouse (B20616)
The study noted several deficiencies in the BUR such as failed caulking’s, extent of vegetation growth, poor gravel adhesion, Windswept, Blisters and ridges corners.
The contractor shall remove and dispose of the old BUR sections (A, B, C, D, E,F,G,H1,H2,H3,J,K,L,M, and N2) which are approximately {59,870 SF) and replace them with a new roofing system.
Most areas of roof need to be repaired – aside from P1 & P2 which have recently been replaced
The project requires a consultant to prepare design drawings and specifications for the tender and construction package. The consultant will conduct onsite quality assurance, work inspections, and supply closeout, warranty, and inspection documents.
The work must adhere to the Infrastructure Ontario and Building Design Guidelines, Ontario Building Code, and all relevant codes and standards.
The contractor will carry out the renewal of systems as detailed in the tender documents.
All tasks must be completed outside regular business hours, with proper security clearances.
The contractor must submit a timeline for approval by the client to avoid disrupting Ministry programs. Appendices include CATS - Appendix A, and Roof study Report as an appendix B.
