2023 - 001 - Industrial Warehouse Space - Offsite Distribution and Storage Facility

The Hospital for Sick Children is undergoing a large-scale renewal project in which several areas of the existing Hospital will be decommissioned and demolished. To make room for the new build, much of the spaces currently in use for storage/flow distribution of materials (internal Hospital supply) will be drastically reduced in capacity and function. The areas most impacted by this renewal project are supporting the Hospital’s daily needs and include; Supply Chain and Logistics, Facilities Operations and multiple program/department storage areas. The Hospital will require the set-up of an Off-Site Distribution and Storage Facility (ODSF) to support the supply and distribution of materials to the Main Hospital Campus during the interim phases of this renewal project.
