Title: Request for Proposals for Systems Integration Verifier Services for the Trillium Line Extension Project
Background: This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) (including all schedules) is issued by the City of Ottawa (“City”) to seek submissions from interested applicants that can bring together all of the skills and experience required to deliver systems integration verifier services in the manner required by the City and TransitNEXT General Partnership (“Project Co”) who will be undertaking the design, build, finance and maintenance of the Trillium Line Extension Project (“the Trillium Project”).
Project Co has been selected pursuant to the City’s request for proposal No. 09717-94065-P01 to design, build, finance and maintain the Trillium Project in accordance with a project agreement entered into between Project Co and the City on March 28, 2019 (the “Trillium Project Agreement”).
The Trillium Project Agreement contemplates a Systems Integration Verifier performing those services set out in Appendix A to the Draft Systems Integration Verifier Agreement attached to this RFP as Schedule 3.

The Systems Integration Verifier is jointly appointed by the City and Project Co for the Trillium Project. It is anticipated that the respondent who is ultimately successful in being awarded the Systems Integration Verifier Services in this RFP Process will enter into a Systems Integration Verifier Agreement with the City and Project Co for the Trillium Project.
This RFP process will be managed by the City, and shall conform to By-law respecting the purchasing of goods, services and construction for the City of Ottawa, By-law 50 of 2000, as amended.
