Description

The intent of this contract is to provide wheel front end loaders with operator(s) and backhoes with operator(s), on an hourly basis, for bus stop snow clearing, Cul-De- Sac/Dead End snow clearing and snow clearing/removal operations where snowbanks restrict sightlines, travel widths, pedestrian and cycling traffic or to relieve trapped water on the roadway or sidewalk. In addition to snow clearing, the wheel front-end loaders with operator(s) and backhoes with operator(s) may also be required to scrape ice and hard packed snow from these surfaces as directed by the Roads Services Area Manager or designate.

This tender is in addition to the previous tender that was issued 19423-96872-T02. It's intent is to fill the vacancies remaining.

Bidders are to transfer the Total Price Per Unit for Three Winter Maintenance Seasons (HST Excluded) amount into Merx. When entering this amount, Merx will multiply the total entered by the number of units required for that line item. After tender closing, the number of units will be updated manually to reflect the number of units offered in the Price Schedule.
