Description

The City of Ottawa has a requirement for the hourly rental of two (2) or more track-type crawler tractors (“bulldozers”) with dozer blade complete with operator(s) for work at the Strandherd snow disposal facility.

Quantity of two (2) units is required. Preference will be given to the large bulldozers first, with any remaining openings filled with the smaller bulldozer size.
Equipment specifications as follows:

Large Bulldozer Requirements

Minimum Net Flywheel Power 214 hp (160 kW)

Caterpillar Models: D7R, D8N, D8R, D8T
John Deere Models: 950J, 1050C
Komatsu Models: D85, D155
Fiat-Allis Models: FD30

NOTE: Other Makes and Models having the power rating above would be acceptable. Only units equipped with Low Ground Pressure Track (Wide Track) arrangement shall be accepted.

Smaller Bulldozer Requirements

Minimum Net Flywheel Power 160 hp (120 kW)

Caterpillar Models: D6R, D7G, D7H
John Deere Models: 850
Komatsu Models: D65
Fiat-Allis Models: FD20
