Description

REQUIREMENT
The Public Works Department of the City of Ottawa has a requirement for the supply and application of herbicide to control Wild Parsnip along various roadways/pathways, stormwater facilities, and parklands in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of RFT No. 15223-98889-T01.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The period of contract shall be for the 2023 spraying season, from approximately 01 May 2023 to 01 November 2023. The City may, at its discretion, extend the period of contract for four (4) additional spraying seasons (2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027) subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and provided the contract pricing, terms and conditions for the extended period are acceptable to the City and the Contractor.

INQUIRIES
All inquiries regarding this RFT are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified herein. Inquiries must be received in writing via MERX not later than Monday, 03 April 2023. Should the MERX system not accept the inquiry, bidders may contact the Contracting Authority by email.

CLOSING DATE
All tender submissions must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, 12 April 2023.
