The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking qualification submissions for the St Laurent Roof and Chiller Replacement, located at 525 Coté St, as described in the Terms of Reference, attached hereto, as Annex “A”.

This two-stage procurement process is to select and then contract with the successful contractor for the construction of the St Laurent Roof and Chiller Replacement.
(This Stage) Stage 1: Request for Pre-Qualification. This RFQ includes rated technical requirements. There is no financial evaluation at this stage. The RFQ responses achieving a minimum overall score of 70% on the technical evaluation and meeting the conditions precedent to Selection of the Short Listed Respondent(s) outlined in Article 3.7 will proceed to Stage 2.
Stage 2 TBD (expected Q1 2024): A Request for Tender will be issued to the pre-qualified respondents, seeking a firm price for the construction of the St Laurent Roof and Chiller Replacement.

All respondents are strongly urged to attend the site visit at 525 Coté St, Ottawa on 27 November 2023, at 1:00PM, as outlined in Article 1.11 - Proposed Schedule of Events. All questions following the site visit must be submitted to the Administrative Authority in accordance with the instructions provided in Article 1.6 -Inquiries and Addenda. Inquiries will be addressed by way of an addendum to parties who order the RFQ through MERX.

No registration is required to attend the site visit.
