Description

The City of Iqaluit Department of Public Works and Engineering (the City) is
issuing a Request for Tender (RFT) for qualified Proponents to provide
construction services as further outlined in this RFT document. The purpose and
objective of this project is to remove various hazardous waste materials from the
West 40 Landfill, as well as any other areas as requested by the City. Once the
contractor has removed the materials, they will then prepare the materials for
sealift and ship them to the south for final proper disposal. The contractor will
also be required to supply storage equipment/materials for the City’s use. The
details of the scope of work are described in detail in Part V Terms of Reference.
