The City is seeking to retain a Consultant to provide professional services for the City of Iqaluit Website project. The Consultant’s team will be retained to provide technical and professional services for replacing the existing City of Iqaluit’s Website with a new one with up-to-date security for the Project.
The City website needs a substantial overhaul as information is often hard to find and users are required to click through multiple links to find the content they are searching for. The City’s website is an essential public communications tool, which serves as a key information source for residents, businesses, and visitors, as well as an operational tool for staff and Council.
The website should promote the city vision, act as the primary source for community information with better capacity to search for documents, serve the public with easy-to-use online services, and encourage citizens to be more involved with the community through events and meetings and to contribute to citizen solutions.
The website should represent the City’s mission statements: To provide services to our citizens that promote a healthy, safe, economically vibrant, and culturally rich city.
The City invites individual firms or consortiums of firms to submit Proposals for the above-referenced Project in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal document.
