cope of Work On Lot 940, Plan 3596 in the City of Iqaluit, Building 803 (Butler Building) is past it’s service life and the City wishes to demolish the building and repurpose the land. Prior to the demolition of the building and repurposing of the land, the City requires a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment as well as a Designated Substance Report for the building. The Bidder will be responsible for conducting a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment and Designated Substance Report. The work is to be performed in a manner that ensures that all adjacent areas, buildings, and roads be kept in continuous uninterrupted operation. Plan and schedule the Work consistent with specified operational constraints and with the objective of uninterrupted operation of the relevant locations, and notify the City representative at least 15 business days prior to conducting each and any work at any of the work locations for the purpose of ensuring that all residents are given ample notice. All work must be conducted in a safe manner for all parties involved. The Consultant shall supervise, organize, coordinate and direct all operations, and provide all necessary labour, materials, equipment and services required to perform the Work. All reports shall be supported with photographs whenever possible and submitted in PDF format. Upon completion and submission of the Consultant’s work, the City shall retain ownership of all materials, documents, reports, appendices and photographs, drawings, and spreadsheets. No further fees or royalties shall be payable and no infringement of copyright shall occur by virtue of any use or modification of the data or templates by the City for any use it may make of the data or template provided in a subsequent condition survey by other consultants or in other fashion. The following describes the Scope of Work for the project. The Scope of Work described is not intended to be an exclusive listing of the services of the Consultant, and the Client will depend on the professional expertise of the Consultant to include such work as is required to achieve the intent of the described services.
