REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR THE PROVISION OF DESIGN, FABRICATE, AND SUPPLY SERVICES FOR
CITY OF IQALUIT TOURISM SIGNAGE
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The City is seeking to retain a firm to provide complete Design- Fabrication &-Supply services for the City of Iqaluit Promotional Signage Project. The Successful Proponent will be retained to provide professional services for the supply of new exterior signage at various locations throughout the city, intended to replace existing signs which are at their life cycle end.
The City invites individual firms or consortiums of firms to submit Proposals for the above-referenced Project in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal document.
Project Scope
The objective of the Project is to design, manufacture and deliver tourism signage for the City of Iqaluit. The signs will be installed at various locations throughout the municipality. Installation to be completed by others.
The design shall incorporate a theme, style, and format similar to the City of Iqaluit’s new street signs, including the new City of Iqaluit logo. Once the designs templates are developed and approved, each sign will be proofed for chosen locations. The Contractor will be responsible for all translation services.
Each chosen proof will be fabricated, packaged, and shipped to the City of Iqaluit under this mandate. Sizes of existing signs will be provided as a guide to the nature of required replacements although the successful proponent will be responsible for design of the replacements.
All signs shall comply with municipal, territorial, and federal guidelines regarding colouring, language, sizing, etc. In particular, all signs shall comply with the Government of Nunavut Language Act.
