2020-RFP-0069 - Booster Station 1 & 2 Upgrades - Investigation Study

The City of Iqaluit is managing its municipal water supply stations and booster stations
which supply its residents and surrounding area with treated water for residential,
domestic and municipal needs. As part of this initiative the City is seeking to retain a
Consultant to provide a technical study and professional design services for the water
distribution booster stations. This request for proposal concentrates on Booster Stations
1 & 2, with an objective to assess the existing facilities, while presenting various upgrade
alternatives that will ensure the facilities will meet current and future demand
requirements, and relevant upgrades as part of the City’s asset management strategy for
the facilities. The chosen consultant will be required to inspect the current booster
station’s, assess process and capacity needs, and engage relevant stakeholders as part
of the assignment in order to ensure the objectives of the assignment are achieved.
