Description

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to obtain the Services of Snow Removal and Ice Control for all its Service Areas for the period of November 1, 2017 through to October 31, 2022 with an option to extend for two (2) additional one year periods.

The selected Proponent will enter into a contractual agreement or “Contract” and will provide snow removal and ice control services which will include, but not be limited to:

Supply labour, equipment and supplies;
Plowing of snow and ice;
Removal of snow and ice, including all drifted and blown snow from the Service Areas;
Applications of approved de-icing materials;
Preventive measures to preclude buildup of snow and ice accumulations, especially on sidewalks, main entrances, and loading docks.

The service is to be provided in a safe, timely, efficient, and environmentally safe manner to ensure that access to the sites and buildings is safe and unimpeded by snow and ice for staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.
