CBRE Limited (CBRE) is issuing this announcement to serve as notification of our upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for Infrastructure Ontario (IO) for a Security Equipment Consultant. The purpose of the RFP is to engage a service provider(s) that is/are able to gather a Security Equipment Inventory and provide Consulting services/recommendations on maintenance of this security equipment, Statement of Work (SOW) preparation for maintenance of this equipment and other ad hoc consulting services in relation to our client’s, Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO), building portfolio within the province of Ontario, Canada.
Your company will have the opportunity to provide services to approximately 14 buildings in Phase 1, 19 buildings in Phase 2. In addition, the SOW will include ad hoc Consulting services for a period of three (3) years with potential optional renewals.
Note: MERX is being utilized for the announcement and Request for Documentation (RFD). RFP will be released through the e-procurement tool Zycus. Completion and submission of the attached Contact Information Template (excel file), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Intent to Propose Declaration (ITPD) documents (together known as the RFD Documents) will grant the supplier access to Zycus. It is important to note that these three (3) documents must be submitted by September 20, 2022, EST 03:00 PM to IOStrategicSourcing@cbre.com. Documents that are received after the specified date may not be considered.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Please note that Proponents will be asked to complete the Conflict of Interest Declaration Form at the RFP stage.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
The successful Proponents will be required to provide a Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Certificate in the amount of $2 million to CBRE within ten (10) days of Award Notification for the provision of the services. CBRE also requires additional umbrella coverage of $5 million.
WSIB CLEARANCE CERTIFICATES
Proponents are required to provide current WSIB Clearance Certificates with the RFP submission
SECURITY CLEARANCE
The successful Proponent(s) will appoint a company security officer (CSO) who will obtain security clearances and will ensure that all employees who are working on the IO account are security cleared prior to commencing services at any location. Details of Security Clearance requirements will be outlined in the RFP.
