The key objective in issuing this Request for Supply Arrangements (“RFSA”) is to qualify Suppliers with security experience on an ad hoc basis who will assist CBC/Radio-Canada in handling its Close Protection Security. CBC/Radio-Canada will retain successful prequalified firms by categories and by region, namely Quebec, Ontario, Eastern and Western Canada. For more clarification, the preference is for supplier to have a presence and offer their service in multiple regions (with the exception of Quebec, suppliers who wish to only be considered for Quebec, may do so, only if they can provide the required service in both official languages.)
CBC/Radio-Canada wishes to pre-qualify suppliers from across the country who are able to meet its various security services. CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the number of pre-qualified suppliers.
Suppliers and staff must be licensed and certified with all appropriate permits/licenses that are required by federal, provincial, and municipal legislation in order to provide services within the specified geographic area. Additionally, staff must be properly licensed and certified for the delivery of all services.
Suppliers bidding must confirm they have a current and effective liability license in place during the agreement term. CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right to request the certificate at any time during the process.
