The CBC/Radio-Canada Asset Management Committee is seeking potential suppliers for the comprehensive, environmentally responsible management of excess equipment and furniture that are no longer compatible with our operations. The principal objective of this Request for Information (“RFI”) is to obtain information about the services available in the marketplace and identify one or more suppliers (“Suppliers”) that may be interested in acquiring one or more lots of CBC/Radio-Canada-owned (“Radio-Canada”) excess equipment and other assets in various categories (the “Inventory”), as described in more detail in Section A.3, and in the removal and taking possession of said Inventory at a time to be determined by the Parties, from Maison de Radio-Canada, located at 1400 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Montreal, QC H2L 2M2 (the “MRC”).
1.CURRENT SITUATION
As part of its relocation process, Radio-Canada will be proceeding with decommissioning and management of the assets of the MRC, and disposing of excess equipment and furniture that are no longer compatible with operations. Following this DR and a positive response from the market, a call for tenders process should be launched in the coming weeks.

3. TO OBTAIN THE RFI DOCUMENTATION

Before you register,

4. COMMUNICATION
Respondents shall submit their questions via MERX no later than noon EDT on July 31, 2020.
Radio-Canada responses to all applicable questions shall be provided to all Respondents simultaneously by way of Addenda on August 6, 2020. The names of Respondents who asked questions will remain confidential.
Respondents wishing to express interest are asked to submit their Response in a single PDF file clearly identified with the Respondent’s name and the reference number of this RFI. Responses must be submitted on the MERX site no later than 8 p.m. EDT on August 14, 2020.
To ensure the consistency of information provided during the RFI process, all related correspondence shall be undertaken via MERX.
