SPECIAL INSTRUCTION: The Statement of Work and the Bidder Response Template will only be released once the Bidder signs the MNDA and returns the document to the point of contact indicated in the RFP.
The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from the industry so that it may select a service provider to lead the development of an Enterprise Project Management (EPM) strategy, provide recommendations, and produce a strategic roadmap of the future state, after completing an analysis of our current state. The strategic roadmap will include People, Processes, & Technology. CRC is looking at putting in place a six (6) month term agreement with the Successful Bidder with an option to extend for another six (6) month term.
The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is executing various types of projects across different Business Units and Service Lines within the organization. These projects are classified as either capital technology projects, operational projects, or events/disasters projects (e.g., floods, fires, pandemic).
The different Business Units and Service Lines currently utilize different processes, systems, and tools when executing these projects from conception to completion. CRC is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified vendors who can lead the development of a strategic roadmap for implementing processes and standards across these Business Units and Service Lines, based on Enterprise Project Management (EPM) best practices, to move in the direction of becoming a project centric organization.
The purpose of EPM is to link the CRC’s goals and objectives with ongoing projects to ensure the company is allocating its resources to the right places at the right time.
Key Requirements:
In addition to the requirements set out in the Bidder Response Template, CRC is ideally looking for a bidder with the following:
- Experience with Microsoft solutions
- Previous industry experience, including:
- Experience working with large charities or Not-for-Profit organizations
- Experience delivering similar projects in highly complex matrix organizations the size of the CRC.
