RFP FIN 01/18 - BANKING SERVICES

The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is soliciting proposals from the financial services industry so that it may select one or more service providers for banking services within Canada. 
 
Specifically, this RFP seeks the following information:

• Respondent capabilities.
• Cost information for individual services.
• Ideas and suggestions to optimize the customer service experience.
• Options to allow CRC to grow and evolve its financial services so that it is seen to be a leader in responsiveness to the public’s and government’s expectations of service delivery (especially during disaster response and recovery phases).
• Identification of key performance indicators that will allow CRC staff to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and responsiveness of CRC’s banking services provider over time.
• Detailed information and costs on any reconciliation processes/tools.
• Description of the future collaborative working relationship between the bidder and CRC – services offered; advisory support; and, problem resolution. References from other complex clients, if appropriate.

• A list of all fees that CRC may potentially be charged related to the banking services outlined/requested in this RFP.  Note: Fees not identified/included in submitted RFP responses may never be charged to the CRC for the services listed within this RFP and/or in any subsequent contract based on any selected RFP response. (Additional fees for not-yet-envisioned services will be allowed to be charged.)
• Draft detailed Transition Plan if the award to the bidder would require a change of CRC’s primary bank.
• References on transitions effectively managed by the bidding firm (if the award would require a change of primary bank transition).
• Information on the bidder’s Corporate Social Responsibility and contributions to the humanitarian sector within Canada and internationally. This includes past contributions and support to disaster response and recovery.
