Description

The Council is soliciting proposals from service providers to provide writing and editing services for our organization. The purpose of this RFSO is to select suitable contractor(s) and establish a Standing Offer Agreement with the successful bidder(s) for the provision of services.
Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and during the timeline outlined below, the service provider may be engaged to provide services for one or multiple projects, as necessary.
The following activities may be required:
- Create and/or revise written materials for various target markets, including: press releases, articles, white papers, customer testimonials, case studies, brochures, website content, reports, and infographics
- Edit written materials, including: substantive or structural editing, stylistic editing, rewriting, copy editing, and proofreading.
Additional writing and editing related services may also be required.
Experience within the Agriculture sector is required.
Ability to provide services in French will be considered an asset.
The term of the mandate will be for a period of three years, from March 1, 2018 to February 28, 2021 with an option to extend.

If you are qualified, please submit a proposal that demonstrates your understanding of the requirement and your experience in providing similar writing and editing services within the agriculture industry. Your submission should include a description of your qualifications and experience and a pricing structure outlining your rates. Please identify three references and provide contact information to support our review of the quality and professionalism of your services
Submissions must include but are not limited to the following:
-Description of services to be provided
-Demonstrated ability to perform the work
-Financial proposal & rates
-Organizational history with experience and qualification profile
-References
Proposals should be prepared in English and submitted electronically to
jschryburt@cahrc-ccrha.ca clearly indicating ‘Writing and Editing Services’.
The deadline for the submission is 4:00pm EST on Feb 16 2018.The successful bidder(s) will be notified in writing prior to Feb 28 2018
