Description

Work to be carried out under this Contract, Roof & Mechanical Upgrades at the Canada Aviation
and Space Museum, 11 Aviation Parkway, Ottawa, Ontario. Provide the necessary labour and
materials to complete the installation of a new waterproofing overlay membrane system and
revise the location of HVAC intake and exhaust air units. Specifically, the new roof membrane
shall consist of a 2-ply torch applied modified bituminous membrane, installed over the existing
membrane assembly, complete with localized removal of the existing insulation at all drain
locations. Enclose all air intake and exhaust chambers at all upper level louvres on the north
and west elevations and provide eight (8) new roof mounted air intake/exhaust curbs and
associated structural framing, complete with interior duct modifications to redirect intake and
exhaust air from existing air handling units to new roof mounted louvered penthouses.
