CSTMC-18-002-CM - ENTRANCE ROAD RESURFACING

In general, the work consists of the following, as set out in the Tender Documents, Specifications
and Drawings:
• Resurfacing and widening a portion of the entrance road in front of the Canada Aviation
and Space Museum as well as associated curb work;
• Excavation, grading and seeding of the berm in front of the Canada Aviation and Space
Museum, including ditching alongside the adjacent interlock walkway and reinstatement of any
disturbed sections of the walkway.

During the course of the work, access to the Museum must be maintained, particularly for tour
buses and pedestrians; therefore some phasing of the Work may be required. Prior to
commencement of the Work, the successful Bidder will be expected to submit a traffic plan for
consideration by the Facilities Manager. The Museum is closed to Visitors on Tuesdays through the
fall and winter, and the successful Bidder may take advantage of the closure in planning the work
of the Project.

The work is expected to commence on or about September 10, 2018 for substantial performance
by October 12, 2018.
