Description

Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC), in conjunction with Calgary Stampede (CS) and other area stakeholders, is in the process of creating the Rivers District Master Plan. Two of the key infrastructure projects identified in this master plan vision are the 17 Avenue SE extension, which calls for 17 Avenue SE to extend eastward, across Macleod Trail SE and the LRT tracks, into Stampede Park, and Stampede Trail, a high quality retail street extending south from 12 Ave SE along the 4 Street SE alignment, to the new 17 Ave extension SE.
