Description

The Fort Calgary Historical Site is located at the edge of East Village on 9 Ave SE and 6 Street SE. This 40 acre site consists of a single storey Interpretive Centre constructed in 1976, and a two storey Barracks which was constructed in 2000.
In our role as Fort Calgary’s Project Manager, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) is seeking to retain a Prime Design Consultant to renovate the Interpretive Centre, herein known as “the Project”. The construction portion of this project will be delivered utilizing a construction delivery management methodology under a (CCDC 5B).
The goal of the Project is to enhance the profile, marketability and status of Fort Calgary’s Museum, creating a cultural/historical resource by revitalizing exhibits, content curriculum and messaging.
