P2019-0041 - Fire Sprinkler System Restoration

The Airport Authority will be replacing the existing Fire Sprinkler System and the installation of a new Fire Pump within the Domestic Terminal Building (DTB) at the YYC Calgary International Airport. This project will be a multi-year phased project. The intent of this contract is to award for one (1) year with the replacement of the system in the Utilities level (Phase 1) of the DTB.
 
The purpose of this project is to update and replace the existing sprinkler system and to install a new fire pump. In addition to the replacement of the fire sprinkler system, modifications will be required but not limited to: repairs to architectural finishes; electrical; fire alarm programming; and the installation of a new open gate mezzanine. The completion of replacement in the Utilities Level - Phase 1 is set for November 1, 2019.

The Airport Authority invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for Contractor services related to the Fire Sprinkler System Restoration project. The Airport Authority’s objective is to obtain best value through highly skilled individuals, teams, and contractors that will deliver projects at Calgary Airport on schedule, budget, and at a level of quality acceptable to the Airport Authority. Work will be completed on week days and weekends, during day or night shifts as necessary to minimize the impact on airport operations. The Contractor must act in the best interest of the Airport Authority.
