BDC currently operates 123 business centres in more than 100 cities across Canada, including its Montreal head office. BDC is seeking vendors that can deliver high quality IMAC Services (Install, move, add, change services for IT equipment related to workstations and conference rooms), have proven expertise in this field and have a broad range of technicians ready to be deployed across Canada.
Relocations and openings of business centres are ongoing projects at BDC. In 2017, BDC completed 13 projects and for 2018, BDC is planning 18 new ones. Assigned technicians will assist in setting up computer equipment for workstations or conference rooms.
In addition, vendors may be required to provide IMAC Services at a business center or head office when a new employee starts or when an IT equipment problem occurs and BDC needs immediate onsite technical assistance.
Below is an overview of the tasks that could be requested:
- LAN support for rooms;
- Installation/uninstallation of workstations (IT equipment);
- Pack and/or disconnect any IT equipment in conference rooms;
- Ad-hoc minor site repairs on request; and
Support to BDC technician as an onsite resource during equipment testing and troubleshooting.
