INVITATION TO TENDER
HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
TAXIWAYS CHARLIE AND GOLF REHABILITATION
CONTRACT NO. 18-003/004

Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the Taxiways Charlie and Golf Rehabilitation Project at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received at the Hamilton International Airport Administration Office (9300 Airport Road, Suite 2206, Mount Hope, ON LOR 1W0) until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

The work generally involves the rehabilitation of Taxiway Charlie and Taxiway Golf including full depth asphalt removal by cold milling, supply and placement of hot mix asphalt, grading and compaction of granular base, adjustment of catch basin frames and grates, airside guidance sign replacement, pullpit replacement, pavement line marking, restoration and associated works.

Tenderers are advised that, in addition to price, Tenders will be evaluated by the Owner on the basis of noncost selection criteria (experience, key personnel/resources and methodology) as outlined in the Information to Tenderers.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained from www.Merx.com. Tender documents are available as of Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Tender Closing Date: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2019 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.

The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. Tenders submitted will be opened privately. All inquiries and questions should be referred to the following persons. The deadline for questions is Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 5:00 pm local time.

There will be a PRE-BID MEETING/SITE INSPECTION on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21. 2019 at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am in the Valley Boardroom of the Air Cargo Logistics Facility located at 9300 Airport Road, Suite 601, Mount Hope, ON. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is recommended but not mandatory.

Directives additionelles d’appel d’offres

A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
