Sealed Tenders on supplied forms will be received by St. John’s International Airport Authority Inc., Box 1, 3rd Floor, Airport Terminal Building, 100 World Parkway, St. John's, NL A1A 5T2, until 2:00
p.m. local time on April 28, 2023.

Scope of Work:

The works proposed under this contract generally includes:

Rehabilitation of Taxiway M, Apron II, and RCAF Road
- Subdrain Sewer and Manhole Replacement
- Full and partial depth asphalt milling
- Granular placement and compaction
- Asphalt Paving
- Line Marking Layout
- Restoration
- Removal and re-installation of elevated edge lights
- New cable / conduits and pullpits

This project marks the second year of the St. John’s Airport proposed $28 million, 4-year airside infrastructure upgrades program and will include the rehabilitation of the airside pavements, lighting, drainage systems and other airside safety enhancements. The program is jointly funded by the SJIAA and the Transport Canada ACIP (Airports Critical Infrastructure Program). The St. John’s International Airport Authority Inc. at their discretion may negotiate with the successful contractor of this contract for the upcoming projects associated with the 4-year airside infrastructure upgrades program.

Plans, specifications, and tender forms may be obtained from St. John’s International Airport Authority Inc. via MERX, beginning Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Last day for tender questions is Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Tender Security of 10% of the Total Tender Price will be required.

The Owner does not bind itself to the lowest or any tender. The tender will be opened privately.
