The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to assist the Thompson Regional Airport Authority (TRAA) in identifying a shortlist of qualified Contractors interested in participating in a Call for Tender for the Airport Redevelopment. Information received through this RFQ may be used by the TRAA to refine the project details/specifications. This is not a Call for Tender. The RFQ process is non-binding and therefore shall not create any formal legal commitment between the TRAA and any other party. The TRAA has no responsibility to reimburse or compensate any person for responding to this RFQ. Parties interested in the Project shall submit their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) no later than the closing date and time, and following the instructions contained within the RFQ document. Respondents are not under any obligation to submit a tender during a Call for Tender. It is intended that the results of the RFQ process will be distributed to all Respondents once evaluations have been completed. The TRAA is not under any obligation to accept any SOQ Submission.
Registration of Interested Parites
Potential Respondents are asked to register their interest by email to the Project Manager at jeff.lo@aviang.ca, providing their company name and contact information.
Registration of interest is highly encouraged, but not mandatory in order to submit a SOQ. Parties who have registered their interest are not obligated to submit an SoQ.
Site Viewing
Site viewing will not be provided during the RFQ stage. Opportunity to view the site will be provided during the call for Tender.

The closing time is 15:00 local time on March 7, 2024. Submission must be received prior to the Closing Time.
Submissions will be accepted by email attachment only (PDF format, maximum email size is 15 MB). The TRAA does not accept liability for equipment or communication failures that preclude successful delivery or transmission of the Submission. Submissions shall be submitted complete with the subject labeled with the project title and return address provided.
