INVITATION TO TENDER
Kamloops Airport Apron 1 Rehabilitation

The Kamloops Airport Authority Society (“KAAS” or the “Airport”) is planning a rehabilitation of aging and deteriorating pavement infrastructure on the main apron at the Kamloops Airport to support the continued safety and reliability of the Apron 1 pavements.

Funding in part for the project has been made possible in part through Transport Canada’s Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP).

Based on the submissions received under this Tender, the Airport intends to immediately proceed to a construction phase in spring 2024 of the proposed work.

The Airport invites open tenders from qualified Contractors for the contract:

KAMLOOPS AIRPORT APRON 1 REHABILITATION

in accordance with the Tender Documents, Specifications and Drawings.

Tender package can be downloaded from MERX www.merx.com. Proponents will be responsible for registering with MERX to be able to download all the necessary documents related to this solicitation.

Offers signed under seal, executed, and dated will be received through MERX.

The work to be executed under this contract comprises the following contract items (list is indicative of major contract items only and any quantities are approximate):

Removal of Existing Concrete Pavement 3,000 m2
Supply and Place Portland Cement Concrete 3,000 m2 (approx. 875 m3)
Clean, Route and Seal Existing Concrete Joints 3,500 m
Geogrid 900 m2
Miscellaneous Concrete Repairs
Pavement Line Markings
*Asphalt Milling 5,000 m2
*Supply and Place Hot Mix Asphalt 1,300 tonnes

*Represents items that may be deleted from scope post-tender at the sole discretion of the Owner.
