Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the Runway 12-30 Rehabilitation Project at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received at the Hamilton lnternational Airport Administration Office (9300 Airport Road, Suite 2206, Mount Hope, ON LOR 1W0) until 2:00 p.m. localtime on Wednesday, April 24,2019.
The work generally involves the rehabilitation of Runway 12-30, a portion of Taxiway Golf and Taxiway Charlie including partial/full depth asphalt removal by cold milling, crack repairs, supply and placement of hot mix asphalt including temporary asphalt tapers, clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping, excavation, storm sewer and pipe culverts, dewatering, construction of Runway End Safety Areas (RESA), realignment of airport security fencing, replacement of existing centreline, touchdown zone and inset approach light cans and secondary cables, Precision Approach Path lndicator (PAPI) and Runway Threshold ldentification Light (RTIL) cabling replacement, airside guidance sign replacement, Runway 12 approach lighting system refurbishment temporary and final pavement line marking, restoration and associated works.
Tenderers are advised that, in addition to price, Tenders will be evaluated by the Owner on the basis of noncost election criteria (experience, key personnel/resources and methodology) as outlined in the lnformation to tenderers.

A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or lrrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
There will be a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/SITE INSPECTION on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The meeting will begin at 1:30 pm in the Valley Board Room of the Air Cargo Logistics Facility located at 9300 Airport Road, Suite 601 , Mount Hope, ON.
Tender Closing Date: Wednesday, April 24,2019 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.
