Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the FEC Replacement Project at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received at the Hamilton International Airport Administration Office (9300 Airport Road, Suite 2206, Mount Hope, ON L0R 1W0) until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.
The work generally includes, but is not limited to the replacement of the existing Field Electrical Centre (FEC) with a new prefabricated unit complete with a new 27.6KV electrical service, transformers, power distribution, transfer of existing airfield lighting and navaid circuits and a new airfield lighting control system.
Tenderer must be qualified to bid on this Project. Tenderers are advised that, in addition to price, Tenders will be evaluated by the Owner on the basis of non-cost selection criteria (experience, key personnel/resources and methodology) as outlined in the Information to Tenderers and Supplementary Tender Information sections.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained from Tender documents are available as of Monday, March 2nd, 2020.
Tender Closing Date: Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.
The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. Tenders submitted will be opened privately. All inquiries and questions should be referred to the following persons. The deadline for questions is Thursday, March 26th, 2020 at 5:00pm local time.
