Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the Apron Expansion and Related Works Project at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received electronically through Merx until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
The work generally involves the expansion of Apron II, widening of Taxiways Alpha and Bravo, rehabilitation of Apron I, construction of a new service road and related works. The work involves topsoil stripping, excavation, storm sewer and drainage works, supply and placement of granular subbase/base/hot mix asphalt/concrete pavement, edgelighting, apron floodlighting, pavement line markings and restoration.
Tenderers are advised that, in addition to price, Tenders will be evaluated by the Owner on the basis of non- cost selection criteria (experience, key personnel/resources and methodology) as outlined in the Information to Tenderers.

A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
There will be a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/SITE INSPECTION on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am on the 2nd Floor of the Air Cargo Logistics Facility located at 9300 Airport Road, Suite 601, Mount Hope, ON.
Tender Closing Date: Tuesday, June 6, 2023 AT 2:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME.
