Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued by Agricorp in order to identify and select the most suitable proponent to provide Intel and Co-location Services.

Following an evaluation process, Agricorp intends to sign a contract with the successful proponent for two (2) years with the option to extend for three (3), one (1) year options. The contract value is not to exceed $270,000 CAD excluding HST.

Agricorp is seeking a vendor with suitable facility and operation capacity to provide a secured and reliable environment for our co-location equipment. Agricorp expects to operate and support its own equipment with a majority of the work being done remotely.

Agricorp intends to procure a dedicated, data centre provided, internet connection for establishing VPN communication between Agricorp’s Head Office and the vendor site. The co-location facility must have Point of Presence (PoP) for major Ontario telecommunication (TELCO) companies. Agricorp will work with the TELCO(s) of our choice.

The services must be fully operational by August 20, 2019.

The proponent must submit an electronic version of their proposal signed by an authorized representative. Proposals are to be prominently marked in the subject heading with the RFP title, number (see RFP cover), and the proponent’s full legal name.
